I’ve always found that view absurd. That the male orgasm is tied to ejaculation doesn’t mean that it is necessary for ejaculation to occur. Likewise, the fact that the female orgasm may not be tied to some reproductive mechanism doesn’t mean that it’s superfluous (an evolutionary byproduct) or a mystery.
